What is the Feed?
The Feed is your starting point inside Copilot to understand your Book of Accounts. It helps you cut through the noise and focus on the accounts that are the most relevant for you to engage with.
Each card in the Feed represents one high-priority account. With the account, you will get recent signals (for example, hiring changes, demo requests, or pricing page visits), along with recommended actions to take.
You can think of it as your sales-focused social media feed: you have a personalized stream of accounts that will allow you to stay focused, productive, and engage with the right accounts!
Who is the Feed for?
The Feed is built for anyone managing a Book of Accounts, such as Account Executives.
If you have ever found yourself asking: “I have hundreds of accounts...where do I even start?” then the Feed is your answer!
It highlights which accounts deserve your attention, why they are being recommended (through relevant signals) and gives actionable next steps.
Why use the Feed?
When you have hundreds of accounts and limited time, figuring out where to start your day can feel like spinning a wheel of fortune. Should you focus on an account that had activity last week? The one you have been meaning to revisit? The one that just popped into your head?
The Feed lets you skip the guesswork! It gives you a clear, prioritized view of which accounts deserve your attention today based on meaningful signals, and how to take action on them.
Instead of spending time deciding what account to engage with, or blindly choosing to reach out, the Feed helps you start working!
Feed vs Inbox - why have both?
Both the Feed and the Inbox are important tools in Copilot, but they have different purposes in your day-to-day workflow.
Use the Feed to:
Stay on top of what is new or changing in your Book of Accounts
Get account-level insights (for example, hiring changes, website activity, or demo requests in an account)
Answer the question: “What is happening in my accounts right now?”
Use the Inbox:
Keep track of your ongoing sales plays (for example, Reactivated Closed Lost Opportunities, or Abandoned Demo Requests)
Understand who to reach out to based on your plays
Stay on top of tasks tied to specific contacts
How to use the Feed
The Feed is designed to help you take action fast on an account!
You can take action with these easy steps:
1. Open the Feed
Log in to the Sales Copilot, and navigate to the Feed tab in the lefthand navigation bar
You can also access it from your profile icon in the top righthand corner
Or, access the Feed from the Daily Dose email that appears daily in your inbox!
Curious about the Daily Dose?
Learn what is it and how to use it in our Email Daily Digest documentation here!
2. Take action on a card
Each card shows a relevant account, along with recent signals and suggested actions.
Take the recommended action directly from a card!
For example, you can add someone to a sequence, or reach out to a suggested person.
Where do the Recent Signals come from?
These signals are based off of the playbook matches that surfaced the account.
You can click on a recent signal (a playbook name) to explore it further. This will open a playbook preview, where you can review the playbook, or re-configure the logic.
Where do the suggested actions come from?
The actions are based off of the rules set up in your Playbooks.
3. Mark as read
Once you’ve taken action on the account, click Mark as read to remove it from your Feed
This keeps your Feed focused, and makes sure you will continue to see fresh content!
4. Explore further (Optional)
Want to dig deeper into the account?
Click on a specific person (for example, “Cathryn Smalley” highlighted in blue) from Recent Signals or What should I do about it? to understand their activities
Click on the company name (for example, Alteryx in the above card) to learn more about the account
Hover over the Account Engagement graph (on the right of the card) to see activity spikes, or expand the graph to see account activities
5. Filter and search (Optional)
By default, your Feed is set to show accounts across all opportunity stages. You can use the Opportunity Status filters at the top (All, Open opp, No open opp, Past closed lost) to narrow your view.
Or, use the Search bar to find a specific account, signal, or person.
