Connect your Salesforce instance to HG Insights to enrich your CRM with firmographics, technographics or spend data,  score your prospects with predictive scoring, and surface sales intelligence directly inside Salesforce.

What does this integration do?

HG Insights connects with Salesforce through a single OAuth connection.

During setup, you choose which capabilities to activate based on your use case.

  1. CRM Enrichment

  2. Sales Copilot & Predictive Scoring

    Each capability has different permission requirements and uses a different Salesforce package.

Using both together

You can activate CRM Enrichment and Sales Copilot & Scoring independently or together. If you start with one, you can always add the other later from the Integrations page without needing to reconnect Salesforce.

FAQ

Can I test with a Salesforce Sandbox first?
Yes. When connecting Salesforce, select "Sandbox" as your org type. The installation link will use test.salesforce.com instead of login.salesforce.com.

Note: only 1 Salesforce instance can be connected to HG platform so your Production will replace the Sandbox when you decide the switch

What Salesforce permissions do I need?
You need Salesforce Admin permissions to install the package(s) and authorize the OAuth connection. See the

Does HG ever create records in Salesforce?

in Sales Copilot, users can add contacts from HG to Salesforce (manually). There is no automation otherwise that may risk flooding your account.

Does HG ever delete records in Salesforce?
No. HG does not delete any record. HG only updates to fields and objects.

Can I restrict which data HG accesses?
Yes, you can restrict access to only the relevant fields.

Can I manage multiple Salesforce orgs?
No. You can only connect 1 Salesforce account.

How do I add more capabilities later?
Go to Integrations → Salesforce in the HG platform. You can activate additional capabilities at any time without reconnecting Salesforce. If the new capability requires additional permissions, you'll be prompted to re-authorize via OAuth.
