Sales Copilot & Scoring - Salesforce Package

Once you've connected Salesforce in HG Insights's platform, selected the integration “Sales Copilot & Scoring” and accepted the permissions required by HG, HG Insights will start pulling data from your instance.

To display Sales Copilot and for HG to score your leads and accounts once you’ve create your scoring, you’ll need to install the following package in Salesforce. 

Step 1: Install the Sales Copilot & Scoring package

  1. Click on the link in the interface or the following installation URL to install package in production

  2. You'll be asked to sign in to your Salesforce account

  3. Select Install for All users and click Install

  4. In the dialog box, select the Yes, grant access to these third-party web sites checkbox, then click Continue.

  5. Salesforce will then create the HG Insights components. This installation may take up to 10 minutes

    • Tip: after the installation, you'll need to add these components to your layout(s)

  6. You may see a message: This app is taking a long time to install. You will receive an email after the installation has completed.

  7. Click Done and wait for an email from Salesforce with the subject Package HG Insights Integration Install Successful

  8. Please follow these instructions to add to your

    • Lead, Contact, and Account layouts 

      • HG Insights Sales Intelligence visualforce iframe 

      • HG Insights fields 

    • Sales Home page 

      • HG Insights Copilot (playbook inbox, explore accounts and contacts...) 

What does HG Insights Salesforce Package include? 

Summary

  1. Visualforce pages for the Lead, Contact and Account objects which will contain an iFrame powered by HG Insights.

  2. Visualforce page for your Sales reps alerts to install as tab on their Home page

  3. Custom fields for the Lead, Contact and Account objects which will be updated by HG Insights's Salesforce integration (if you have a scoring usecase with us). The fields are grouped into field sets for each object.

  • The following fields will be available to add to your layout under the Lead and Contact object:

    SFDC field names may vary with the latest Salesforce package

    If you installed the package prior to December 2025, the field names may be prefixed with MK_ instead of HG_ the screenshots below are valid.

    If you installed the package in December 2025 or later, the field names matches the screenshots above

  • The following fields will be available to add to your ayout under the Account object

F.A.Q

Is this package managed or unmanaged? 

Unmanaged. Once it's installed in your Salesforce you'll be able to edit the component like the names, description to best fit your internal vocabulary and teams  

What happened to the "MK Likelihood to Buy Scores"?

We've changed the name of the following fields in the Salesforce package to better reflect the intended purpose of the scores:
