Building Your Company Context
Audience: Admin (typically RevOps)
When your organization is onboarded to AI Sales Copilot, the first step is building your company context. This is the foundation that every insight, signal, and workflow in Sales Copilot runs through, and it's designed to take minutes rather than weeks.
How company context extraction works
You start with just your company URL. From there, an agentic layer researches your business and extracts your company context, grounded in HG data as a verified source. You'll see the progress as it works through each step:
Identifying your company
Cataloging your products and services
Analyzing firmographics and installed tech
Deriving your ideal customer profile
Mapping competitors, partners, and buying committee
Surfacing pain points and intent signals
Finalizing your company context

What gets extracted
The extraction produces a complete picture of how your company goes to market:
Products you sell
Intent topics relevant to your business
Competitors you sell against
Partners and complementary tech your product works alongside
Ideal Customer Profile: geographies you sell to, target company sizes, revenue thresholds, industries, and tech stack signals
Personas: your buying committee, such as the Buyer who owns budget and the Champion who operates day to day, each with associated titles
Pain points your product solves for your target market
Spend categories and firmographics for your own company
Reviewing and editing your context
Once extraction completes, you review the full company context on a single page organized into cards. Hit Edit on any card to update it. Changes save directly to your company context.
You can come back and edit your company context at any time after onboarding. It isn't locked after setup.

What happens next
After you confirm the company context, Sales Copilot groups your products into offerings for you to review. See Confirming Your Offerings.
