Job change signals are a premium signals add-on.
Pre-requisites
Job change signals are a premium add-on and must be enabled as part of your MadKudu subscription.
Salesforce must be connected, and Copilot must be set up.
Step 1: Configure Your Contact Watchlist
To provide relevant signals to your sales team, define a watchlist of contacts to follow. Focus on individuals who were:
Former customers, champions, or buyers who have previously used your product or engaged with your team.
Contacts in open opportunities to monitor their involvement in buying committees.
Filter large account populations by criteria such as:
Role (e.g., champion, influencer, buyer).
Title or seniority.
Functional role (e.g., admin, user).
Combine contact data from sources like Salesforce, Snowflake, or Mixpanel into a CSV file. Ensure the file contains the email addresses of individuals to track, even if those emails are no longer valid.
Pro Tip: Use the Salesforce Connector for Google Sheets to consolidate multiple reports into a single CSV.

Step 2: Upload the Watchlist to MadKudu
Manually:
Log into app.madkudu.com.
Go to Integrations > Job Changes.
Upload your CSV file.
Click Update.
Automatically: Use the Job Changes Watchlist API to automate the upload and refresh process.
Once activated, MadKudu will identify the LinkedIn profiles of these contacts, retrieve their employment history, and monitor future changes.
Note: It takes around 24h to see results populating after this initial activation.

Step 3: Add Job Change Playbooks to Your Teams’ Copilot Accounts
To enable your sales team to act on job change signals:
Log into Copilot (installed in Salesforce or via the Chrome extension).
In the left navigation bar, click + New playbook, then select Playbook library.
Choose the job change playbooks.
Assign a Gong/Outreach/Salesloft sequence to each playbook.
Adjust sharing settings to either the entire org or specific teams.
Click Save playbooks.
Your sales team is now ready to leverage job change signals in their workflows!
Note: Job changes data is refreshed on a monthly basis
As such, playbook matches will pop-up in bulk once every month, rather than continuously.

Understanding Watchlist updates & Job Change Signals Retention
Once the initial run has passed, your watchlist is scheduled to be re-processed on the first day of each month.
Every time you update or replace your watchlist, here’s what to expect:
The records that are no longer in the watchlist will stop being tracked (i.e. Madkudu will be blind to the next career move they take), but Madkudu will retain the data it has already processed (meaning you can leverage the job change history already ingested)
The new records will not be processed automatically until next scheduled run (first day of the month)
This functionality allows your sales team to benefit from historical data, providing insights into job changes that may still be relevant, even if the contacts are no longer actively monitored.
Best Practices for Managing Your Watchlist
To maximize the effectiveness of your job change signals, consider the following best practices:
Regularly review and update your watchlist to ensure it reflects your current priorities and targets.
Utilize the historical job change signals to re-engage with champions who may have moved to new opportunities.
