Company Enrich

A single API call can return all three data types for any company.

Firmographics Company name, domain, location, industry, revenue, employee count

Company Match

Don't have a domain or HG ID? The match endpoint resolves companies from partial information. Submit a company name, domain, and/or country, and get back ranked HG company matches sorted by relevance. Supports batch matching of up to 10 companies per request — useful for deduplication, record linking, and importing lists from external sources

Company Search

Search across the entire HG company database using filters like industry, location, employee count, revenue, and technology installs. Use this to build targeted account lists, find companies using specific technologies, or identify markets that match your ideal customer profile.

Catalog

Browse the full HG taxonomy of vendors, products, product categories, spend categories, industries, and more. Use catalog endpoints to look up the IDs you need for filtering enrichment results or building search queries. Includes NAICS codes, SIC codes, FAI departments, intent topics, and country/state references.

How do I get an API key?

Log in to the HG Admin Portal to generate and manage your API keys. Pre-requisite: your organization needs to have a positive balance of credits.

What's the difference between API v1 and API v2?

v2 is simpler, faster, and more flexible. Key differences:

One call instead of many — v1 required separate calls for firmographics, installs, and spend. v2 returns everything in a single enrichment call.
Domain lookup — v1 required an HG ID. v2 lets you look up companies by domain (e.g., walmart.com).
Bulk enrichment — v1 handled one company at a time. v2 supports up to 25 per request.
Self-serve key management — v1 keys required your CSM. v2 keys are managed in the Admin Portal.

Is API v1 being retired?

Not in 2026 but any new build should use API v2

How is usage billed?
