Why use ZoomInfo integration

Integrating ZoomInfo with HG Insights allows your reps to source net new key contacts they may be missing in their book of accounts without leaving HG  Sales Copilot.

  • Get recommandations on key personas missing in your book of accounts with our contact discovery widget

  • Add these key people to Salesforce, or to Gong Flows, Outreach Sequences or Salesloft Cadences.

  • Go further and search for additional people with the filters

How to connect ZoomInfo

Pre-requisites

  • You must be a ZoomInfo Admin to connect with HG Insights

  • You must have a ZoomInfo account with access to ZoomInfo Enterprise API

  • You must permit the HG Insights user in Salesforce to create leads and contacts

As an ZoomInfo Admin and a HG Insights Admin:

In Zoominfo

  1. Follow ZoomInfo’s instructions you ZoomInfo  Client ID and Private Key  https://api-docs.zoominfo.com/#authentication-methods

Please make sure to be on the right plan with API access with ZoomInfo. Reach out to your ZoomInfo account manager in doubt.

In HG Insights

  1. Log into HG Insights Admin console 

  2. Navigate to Integrations then click on ZoomInfo

  3. Click on Configuration.

  4. Enter the

    1. username (email address) used in your ZoomInfo account

    2. Client id

    3. Client Secret in the Private key.

  5. Click on Connect.

  6. You should be able to see that it has been successfully connected.

    Once connected your users will be able to source people from HG Insights using ZoomInfo's database.


FAQ

When and how many ZoomInfo credits are consumed?

When users in HG Sales Copilot click on “Add to Salesforce / Gong/ Outreach / Salesloft”, 1 bulk credit is consumed per contact added. The credits are bulk credits from the connected account.

Do I need a ZoomInfo seat for each rep to use the contact discovery?

No, only 1 ZoomInfo account with the API in your plan is needed, you don’t need an account per user.
