What is the Competitive Analyst Agent?

The Competitive Analyst Agent helps you quickly understand your competitive landscape. It analyzes competitor adoption, trends, and movement between products so you can choose the right competitor to target in your Competitive Takeout campaign.

Use it to:

  • See which accounts use a competitor

  • Understand where your product wins or loses

  • Select the competitor you want to build your Takeout campaign around

How to Use Competitive Analyst Agent

  1. Login to RGIP and open the Competitive Takeout use case.

  1. Click “Create a takeout campaign” to view the three Competitive Takeout agents.

  1. Click on the Competitive Analyst agent to deep dive into a product.

  1. You’ll be prompted to type the name of a product you want to analyze. For example, Splunk.

  1. You will be taken to three different insights that help you deep dive into your competition.

  2. Review the first insight: who is using your competitor.

This view shows how many companies use the competitor and how large their install base is.

  1. Review the second insight: who you are displacing.

This section shows which competitor products were used before switching to you.

  1. Review the third insight: who is displacing you.

This shows who previously used your product but switched to a competitor.

  1. Feel free to use the chat to deep dive into a specific competitor, filter the insights, and ask follow-up questions.

  2. Using the insights provided, select the right competitor for your takeout campaign.
