G2 - How to send G2 Buyer Intent data to MadKudu?

Why use G2 Buyer intent in MadKudu

  • Account segmentation: include G2 buyer intent in your account scoring to identify accounts showing intent for your product, category or competitors.

  • Playbooks: surface these accounts to your reps at the right time, with the recommended action

    • are they browsing for a solution? send educational content

    • are they comparing your product with a competitor? highlight your differentiators

    • ..etc

  • Account intelligence: show your reps what target accounts were looking at specifically

How to send G2 Buyer intent data to MadKudu

Pre-requisites

  • You have a subscription to G2 Buyer intent data 

  • You have integrated G2 to Salesforce 

  • Your Salesforce is connected to MadKudu 

Step 1: Make sure the MadKudu user in Salesforce has access to G2 objects

MadKudu should have read access to the following objects 

  • G2Crowd__G2_Event__c

  • G2Crowd__G2_Product__c

  • G2Crowd__G2_Visiting_Organization__c

Make sure to assign a G2 license to the Salesforce integration user.

Step 2: Request activation

MadKudu being connected to your Salesforce, the G2 objects will get pulled into MadKudu.

Please request the activation of the G2 Intent option to be activated via a support request. Please allow 3-5 business days for the request and set up to be complete.

We'll pull the G2 objects from Salesforce and make G2 signals available in the platform.

Step 3: Use G2 signals

Once activated, you’ll see the events

  • in Copilot, on any account activity feed. Here’s an example

  • in the Data Studio

    • when reloading an Account Engagement model dataset

    • available to use in aggregations

  • If you are already pushing the Account Engagement scores in Salesforce, the signals field will also display events "Showed intent for {topic}"
