# Why use Playbooks

As a seller, Playbooks help you figuring out which accounts or leads to focus on first with a recommended approach on what to do with each prospect.

As a Sales manager or Sales enablement manager, Playbooks help you replicate and scale the plays your best reps are doing

Here is a practical example.

- Before using Playbooks, you have enablement sessions over slides suggesting plays like
  - "For leads who have downloaded this ebook then you should send them this marketing sequence XXX"
  - "For leads who visit the Enterprise-specific website pages, send them into the Enterprise offering sequence YYY"
  - "For qualified product signups, send them into the product sequence ZZZ ".
- Now with the Playbooks in HG Insights, your do not need to remember the plays, it's written directly in the playbook description and the sequence pre-selected for you. All this is customizable!
