# How to pull additional fields to use in the HG Insights platform?

# **When to pull additional fields?**

While configuring the Attribute mapping, Conversion mapping, Audience mapping, or Event mapping, you see a field not available in the list. This means HG Insights is not pulling this field yet.

****Recommendation: only pull fields that will be used downstream in the platform. Pulling all fields available will eat up some processing capacity and slow down the scoring of your records at the end of the pipeline.***

# **How often are those fields pulled?**

At every batch processing, on the **Merge** **process** (see when the next Merge process should run in the [Processes Page](/v1/docs/how-to-read-the-processes-page-how-long-does-it-take-for-madkudu-to-score-my-leads-and-accounts)), which usually occurs every 4 to 12 hours.

# **How to pull additional fields?**

1. Go to app.HG Insights.com > **Integrations** > **Salesforce** > **Pull** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a55e7ea5-b8ac-4456-874d-10cc92097370/Images/Documentation/image(422).png)
2. Select the **fields** to add to the list of fields to pull
3. Fields with a gray box are already being pulled

4. Leave “1 year of data” selected, and click “Pull data”

5. Review the confirmation pop-up and click “Pull data” to confirm
6. You will receive a **confirmation email** in the **following minutes or hours** to know if the pull was successful.
7. If the pull was successful, congrats! You can now use your new field across the App.
8. If the pull was unsuccessful, you can submit a support request.

# **F.A.Q**

### **I pulled a field and received a success email, why can't I find it in the Studio?**
