# **Before you contact support**

### Search the knowledge base

Before you contact our support team, we recommend searching HG Insights Knowledge Base for immediate answers to your questions.

- Search for keywords using the search bar to discover all articles available in the knowledge base.
- Browse by categories and sections to explore the knowledge base.

### Check the API status page

Check our [System Status page](https://status.madkudu.com/) to see if HG Insights is experiencing any issues. If you’re still having problems, **make sure to let us know that you’ve tried these steps when you contact HG Insights support.**

1. Visit homepage
2. Click on “Submit a Request” on the top right
3. Type your question and choose a category.
4. Provide additional details to help us understand what you need help with (URL you are having issues with, any error message, record IDs of leads/contact/account)
5. If you have a screenshot or file to help us, click **Add files** and select the relevant files to attach.

#### From the HG Insights platform
