# Export records directly from Copilot

### What is this export feature?

The Export feature allows you to quickly download up to 10k records from Copilot as a .CSV file. These records include key information such as Email, First Name, Last Name, Company, Position, LinkedIn, and Location.

### 2. Why use it?

- **Easily share** person records with colleagues, customers, or stakeholders outside of Copilot.
- Use your preferred data analysis tool to **manipulate data** offline and **pull reports** .

### 3. How to use it

1. **Access Your View**
  - In Copilot, go the Explore tab and open “All persons” or “My book of persons.”
2. **Select Records**
  - Check the box next to each person you wish to export.
  - Or, click the top checkbox to select all visible records in that view.
3. **Export**
  - Once you’ve selected the records, click the **Export** button in the top menu.
  - A menu will open, allowing you to export the selected rows.
4. **Download Your CSV**
  - The system will generate a CSV file containing up to 10,000 records, including the fields:
    - **Email, First Name, Last Name, Company, Position, LinkedIn, Location**
  - Save or open the CSV file in your spreadsheet application.

With these steps, you’ll be able to extract the most relevant details from Copilot easily!

#### Can I export custom columns into my CSV?

For now, HG Insights does not support this feature.
