# Closed Lost Follow Up (time-based)

This play helps you follow up with decision makers at **companies you’ve talked to in the past**, **where the timing did not work out.**

Every day, you’ll **receive a list of contacts at opportunities that were lost, let’s say, 90 days ago**.

Here is a typical email example for a follow up:

***Subject:****looking again into [product]*

*Hey [Name],*

*I hope you’re doing well. I remember when we last spoke about [Company] and agreed to reconnect around this time. I wanted to reach out to see if things have shifted on your end and if it might be a good time to revisit our conversation.*

*No pressure, but if you’re open to a quick chat, I’d love to explore how we might be able to support your goals now. Let me know if you’re available for a short call this week or next.*

*Looking forward to hearing from you!*

*Thanks!*

### How to set this up

1️⃣ Use the following filters:

- Include
  - Opportunity was **lost 90 days ago**(learn more [here](/v1/docs/setting-up-a-opportunity-lost-filter))
- Exclude
  - Accounts with an**open opportunity**(learn more here)
  - Account where **type** is **partners** or **existing customers**(learn more here)
