# Clearbit Reveal - How to send de-anonymized web traffic to MadKudu via Segment or Amplitude

### **Pre-requisites**

- You have a [Clearbit Reveal](https://clearbit.com/platform/reveal) subscription
- You have a [Segment](https://segment.com/) account or [Amplitude](/v1/docs/amplitude) account
- Your website is tracked via Segment or Amplitude
- Your [Segment or Amplitude website source is connected to MadKudu](/v1/docs/segment-1)
- Your [website pages from Segment or Amplitude are mapped in the event mapping](/v1/docs/event-mapping-segment)

# **Step 1: Check MadKudu is receiving your website web visits and that they are mapped**

1. Connect to your **MadKudu** account [app.madkudu.com](https://app.madkudu.com/)
2. Go to the **Data** tab on the left side nav bar then **Segment** or **Amplitude** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a55e7ea5-b8ac-4456-874d-10cc92097370/Images/Documentation/image(309).png)
3. Scroll down the last table **Most frequent pages in the last 6 months** and make sure you see the URL paths corresponding to your website ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a55e7ea5-b8ac-4456-874d-10cc92097370/Images/Documentation/image(311).png)
4. Now check your web pages are mapped in the Event mapping. Go to **Mapping** in the left nav bar then **Segment or Amplitude**

If you don't see events on the left side corresponding to your website pages,[please edit your event mapping following this documentation](/v1/docs/event-mapping-segment)

# **Step 2: Connect Segment or Amplitude with Clearbit Reveal following this documentation**

Please follow

- Segment's documentation to connect Reveal to your company website [https://segment.com/docs/connections/destinations/catalog/clearbit-reveal/](https://segment.com/docs/connections/destinations/catalog/clearbit-reveal/)
- Amplitude’s documentation to connect Reveal to connect Reveal to your company website

Once connected, new properties `clearbit_reveal_company_domain` will be available in the Segment integration for MadKudu to pull.

Here is how to check this:

1. Connect to your **Segment** account
2. Go to **Sources** and find your website connected it should have a Javascript logo ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a55e7ea5-b8ac-4456-874d-10cc92097370/Images/Documentation/image(312).png)
3. In the source, when clicking on the **Schema** tab, then **Identify** tab, search in the list of properties "reveal". You should be able to see ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a55e7ea5-b8ac-4456-874d-10cc92097370/Images/Documentation/image(313).png)

# **Step 3: Activate the de-anonymization option in MadKudu**

Please confirm to MadKudu via a support request that the Segment <> Clearbit Reveal connection is established. Please confirm the name of the property at step 1 is **clearbit_reveal_company_domain** or tell us the exact name if different.

-
  - MadKudu will pull the new Clearbit Reveal properties
  - MadKudu will activate the option to use de-anonymized events
  - Note: There is no change to make in the Event mapping if your web pages are already mapped in there

Once done, the de-anonymized web visits will automatically be counted in the Account Engagement scoring and the Sales Intelligence with "Anonymous visitor viewed X page"
