# AI Account Research

### Automate your research with our AI Account Briefs!

#### Why use the Automated Account Research feature?

Sales reps spend too much time researching accounts instead of selling. HG Insights’s Account Research feature changes that by giving you an **Account Brief** - a concise, actionable summary of key account details.

With this feature, you can:

- Quickly understand **why an account is a good fit**.
- Discover **why now is the right time** to engage.
- Learn **why your solution matters** to them.

#### What Does Account Research Do?

- **Generate an Account Brief:** Quickly surfaces relevant information about a company, such as recent news, funding, leadership changes, and product launches.
- **Answer Critical Sales Questions:** Provides insights that answer why an account is a good fit, why it’s timely, and why your product is relevant.
- **Centralize Data Sources:** Combines information from LinkedIn, websites, Salesforce, and other tools into one easy-to-digest summary.

#### **How to use the Account Research feature:**

1. Click on an Account in Copilot.
2. Navigate to the "AI brief" tab.
3. Your Account Brief will be automatically generated within a couple minutes - please hang on!
4. Click on any relevant source (e.g., LinkedIn page, company website, or news article) to navigate directly to it for deeper insights & transparency.
5. Use the insights to craft personalized messages or prep for meetings!
